I chose to call it Levity because its a word i’ve always loved. Levity was once a scientific term. Levity originally was thought to be a physical force exactly like gravity but pulling in the opposite direction, like the helium in a balloon. If gravity weighed us down, levity pulled us up.

I love original meaning of pulling each other up, and the new meaning of lightness and joy. All notions that mean a lot to me.

I’m a filmmaker and storyteller. I’m incredibly passionate about people, and over the last five years have travelled around the world meeting as many as I can.

What I value the most about what I do, is finding words to express what most find hard to. The little things about who we are. Those granular details that hold so much beauty and significance.

When you come from diverse cultures like I do, cultures that have been contorted, misunderstood and misconstrued, finding mere words that capture their beauty can be truly radical.
